Peggy A. Lancellotti, MA., CAGS., LMHC

Peggy Lancellotti, MA., CAGS, LMHC received her Bachelors degree in psychology from Boston College, her Master’s degree in Agency Counseling from Rhode Island College, and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. She is a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Rhode Island (MHC # 00662).

Peggy has diverse experience counseling in outpatient, community, hospital, and correctional settings. She offers individual, family, group, and couples counseling to clients with a variety of issues including depression and mood disorders, anxiety, Trauma/PTSD, complicated grief, dual diagnosis, substance use disorders, adjustment disorders and adolescent /young adult issues including sexual orientation/LGBTQIA issues and acculturation issues.

Peggy has extensive experience and specializes in the treatment of sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional abuse as well as victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual exploitation and sexual violence. She is passionate in helping survivors find their voice and unique path to recovery and healing.,

Peggy is a trauma informed practitioner and is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) Level I and II trained therapist. She is also a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a member of the Rhode Island Mental Health Counselors Association (RIMHCA).
